Strategic Tech and Curriculum Investments Enhance Day-One Readiness for Healthcare Professionals
Adtalem is committed to training day-one, practice-ready healthcare professionals and elevating the quality of care for populations across the United States. The Company has made several recent strategic investments in technology and curriculum to enhance student readiness.
On the earnings call, Beard announced that Chamberlain will expand its Practice Ready. Specialty Focused.™ (PRSF) education model through a partnership with the Oncology Nursing Society program to meet the increasing demand for specialized training in oncology. It’s the sixth specialty course since PRSF launched at Chamberlain in 2023.
In addition, Adtalem is implementing industry-leading technology that attracts new students and is driving high persistence rates as it continues to swiftly, yet methodically, expand Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to train practice-ready professionals.
Last year, Adtalem’s Classroom Experience and Innovation team launched Nurse Ally, a generative AI tutor, at Chamberlain, leveraging Walden’s AI learnings. Students use the tutor in a myriad of ways—from organizing schedules to creating study guides and asking course-related questions. Positive student feedback has led to its expansion into additional programs.
Adtalem also recently announced its partnership with Hippocratic AI to create a new curriculum to train healthcare professionals in AI technologies. This partnership introduces the first-ever AI certification for Chamberlain and Walden students, as well as other practicing clinicians, equipping them and practicing clinicians with the skills to evaluate, use, and ethically apply AI tools in patient care.
