The Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) Counseling Center has been accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS), the accreditation association for university and college counseling centers. The RUSVM Counseling Center was found to offer outstanding professional services to its clientele and was evaluated for its compliance with the IACS Standards, the highest standards for campus counseling centers.
The RUSVM Counseling Center is directed by Dr. Jennifer Bradtke and serves students as they prepare to become members and leaders of global healthcare, advancing human and animal health. RUSVM provides students with a variety of services, including individual and group counseling and psychoeducational groups.
“The RUSVM Counseling Center offers an effective and comprehensive suite of programs and services that make a vital contribution to the quality of student and campus life,” said Dr. Reina Juarez, Vice-President and Chair, IACS Board of Accreditation.
“This accreditation demonstrates that the RUSVM Counseling Center is providing high level, quality services to our students. It shows that RUSVM is committed to supporting its students,” said Dr. Jennifer Bradtke, director of the RUSVM Counseling Center.
IACS began in the 1940s as a part of the National Vocational Guidance Association. IACS was established as an association in 1972 to inform the public about campus counseling services that are competent and reliable and to encourage counseling services to meet high professional standards.
